Harvest mouse nests are tiny masterpieces, tucked into tussocks of grass about 10 cm off the ground. These little mice weave leaves and grasses into spherical nests, about the size of a baseball. The entrance is just big enough for them to squeeze through, leading to a snug cavern lined with soft dandelion fluff for added comfort.
